Last year I was invited to give a presentation in IDC about Security in the AI world.
Below are the slides of this presentation.
Main conclusions:
AI will enable larger scale of attacks because of automation and more sophistication though more information researched (e.g. phishing). Any software vulnerability will be more likely to be found,
AI will create great uncertainty in human online conversation and protocols (this happens already today - we already doubt images and videos posted as being AI generated)
Lowered bar for cybercrime - more attackers
SMBs will no longer be protected by numbers. Scale will make attacking them profitable. What used to take lots of effort, will be automated.
